With thanks to God, the giver of all vocations, the Province celebrated our post-novice brothers Br. Gabriel Conlon and Br. Shawn Natola, who made their renewal of temporary vows on Sunday, July 28, at St. Clare Friary in Yonkers, N.Y. Nearly 30 friars packed the chapel at St. Clare. Fr. John Koelle, co-director of post-novitiate formation, led the friars in evening prayer. Fr. Robert Abbatiello, the provincial minister, offered a brief homiletical reflection before receiving Brothers Gabriel and Shawn’s vows. Brother Gabriel made his first profession of vows in 2022, and Brother Shawn made his first vows in 2023. Friars in initial formation renew their temporary vows annually until they make their perpetual profession of vows.
